The next meeting will be Tuesday, July 28, 6-8 pm with guest speaker Arieh Scharnberg.  For those of you who don't yet know him, Arieh was raised in Humboldt County (his parents are Rabbi Les and Judi Scharnberg), and made aliyah to Israel a few years ago.  Arieh will join us for discussion of long-term vision for Israel in response to recent articles by political commentator Peter Beinart, a longtime supporter of the two-state solution who has recently taken a new approach in a short article in the New York Times and a longer article in Jewish Currents.
