GOOD CONDUCT POLICY

FOR STUDENTS:

I understand that:

1. For classes I need to bring my Beit Limud books and any other learning materials required by my teachers.

2. Electronic devices and toys are not appropriate and are not permitted at Temple during classes, activities or events.

3. If it is necessary to have a cell phone, it must be turned off and stored during school.

4. For the safety of everyone, students need to stay with the group or a staff member.

5. If my teacher(s) find me to be disruptive, I will be asked to step out of the classroom and sit with an
adult until I am ready to rejoin the class with appropriate behavior.

6. If I continue to behave inappropriately, I will meet with my teacher, my parent, and a member of the
Children's Education Committee or Director after class to discuss the situation.

7. My parent may be asked to stay with me during future classes to ensure that I will behave appropriately. If my behavior continues to be disruptive, I  may be asked to leave the Children's Education Program for the remainder of the school year.

FOR PARENTS:

1. My child needs to bring their learning materials to every class.

2. Electronic devices and toys are not permitted at any Temple classes, activities or events.

3. If it is necessary to have a cell phone, it must be turned off and stored during school.

4. For the safety of everyone, students need to stay with the group or a staff member.

5. If my child's teacher(s) find my child to be disruptive, my child will be asked to step out of the classroom and sit with an adult until my child is ready to rejoin the class with appropriate behavior.

6. If my child continues to behave inappropriately, I  will meet with my child, the teacher(s), and a member of the Children's Education Committee or Director after class to discuss the situation. If necessary I agree to discuss appropriate steps to remedy the situation with my child's teacher and a representative of the Children's Education Committee.

7. If my child's behavior continues to be disruptive, my child may be asked to leave the Children's Education Program for the remainder of the school year.
