Concert of Yiddish folk, theatre, art song, prayer and new compositions. Hear Heather’s stories from her travels, concerts in different countries and songs she has learned along the way. With pianist Jason ManLaPaz.

Heather Klein, singer/composer/producer/cantorial soloist is passionate about special projects, Yiddish song and bringing stories to life. Klein has performed with Sundance, Music Theatre group, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, YIVO, featured on PBS and at festivals including: Ashkenaz, Mameloshn, KlezCalifornia, KlezKanada, and YidStock. This year, she has released two new albums with original songs from her show about her grandmother: Shanghai Angel and an album of original and arranged lullabies called Rooted Lullaby and a composition for the film God of Vengeance. Klein also produces the yearly festival Yiddish Las Vegas where she serves as their Cantorial Soloist.
Jason ManLaPaz (Music Director/Pianist) received his musical training from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami as well as extensive training at the Mountview Conservatory in London, England.  He has served as adjunct faculty for the theater department at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.  He has also served as the music director for the Opera program at the Venetian Hotel and for the Las Vegas Men’s Chorus. He is also a vocal coach, and his private students’ credits include professional productions of Hamilton (Broadway/Chicago/Australia), the Ferryman (Broadway), Harry Potter & the Cursed Child (Broadway), Matilda (National Tour), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Germany), An American In Paris (National Tour) and many more.  Follow him on social media @JMvoicecoach
