MISSION

The proposed mission of Temple Beth El is to ensure the perpetuation of the Jewish people and to cultivate a love for our Jewish heritage and religion. Our desire is to realize this through:

Avodah

Worship in a Jewish congregation that seeks to offer a variety of traditional and evolving spiritual practices for the religious development and fulfillment of our members;

Chavurah

An open, dynamic community of individuals and families of diverse religious, racial, and cultural backgrounds; abilities; gender identities and sexual orientations who are committed to creating a warm and welcoming Jewish congregation;

Talmud Torah

An enlightened program of Jewish learning for members and the community at large;

K’lal Yisrael

Strengthening our commitment to our community, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people of all lands, and striving to establish understanding and commonality among the various expressions of Judaism;

Tikkun Olam

Commitment to the ideals of our Jewish ethical heritage and the prophetic work of meeting our responsibilities to our communities, our nation, the State of Israel, and our world.
